Estonian Bolt et al thanks to a massive investment announced in August this year is also launching a unique Bolt Market service in Slovakia. It is clear from the name what the service is about, but the unique thing is that the delivery of food should take 15 minutes! Bolt will launch the Market service so far only in parts of Bratislava.

Everything will work through the Bolt Food app (Google Play i App Store), through which it is already possible today to have food brought from partner stores to the door. But the application will now be expanded with a new service – Bolt Market. It is directly focused on the import of food and other common assortment of supermarkets.

“Thanks to our rich experience in the field of food delivery, parameters of the Bolt Food application and a wide base of partner couriers, we can launch a service in Bratislava that is unparalleled in our market – import of food purchases, hygiene products and other goods within a quarter of an hour,” explains Peter Mesarč, Country Manager for Bolt Market in Slovakia.

The main difference compared to the competition should be the speed of delivery. Delivery time should be only 15 minutes from order. But this will not always be the rule. Bolt Market should look like an online marketplace in the application, from which you will be able to order by simply clicking on the icon of the required goods, while the application will also show you the estimated delivery time.

In addition, you can choose contactless delivery of the purchase in the app, where the partner courier leaves the order at the customer’s predetermined place without personal contact.

Bolt wants to expand the Market service not only in terms of assortment, but also the availability of the service in various parts of Bratislava and in other cities.

“However, Bratislava is only the beginning, next year we are planning a massive expansion in the range offered, as well as service coverage throughout Slovakia., ” added Peter Mesarč. Where everywhere? Bolt Food is already available in Košice, Nitra, Banská Bystrica and Žilina. Some and probably all of these cities will gradually receive the Bolt Market service.

Bolt Food is currently available in more than 50 cities in 20 countries around the world, where couriers with a green thermal bag deliver from around 15,000 restaurants and shops to 3 million users.
