Johnson & Johnson vaccine, stop from Slovenia after 20-year-old death

Slovenia has decided to stop administering the Johnson & Johnson coronavirus vaccine after a 20-year-old woman vaccinated for blood clots. This was announced by Health Minister Janez Poklukar. Slovenia had already suspended the use of Johnson & Johnson’s single-dose vaccine, following the death in September of the woman, who died of a brain haemorrhage and blood clots, days after receiving a dose. A panel of experts confirmed a rare vaccine-induced complication.
