Omicron variant, 8 other cases of the Omicron variant of covid have been diagnosed in Great Britain, bringing the total number to 13. The United Kingdom Health Security Agency (Ukhsa) has made it known, as reported by the Guardian. “The people who tested positive and their contacts are all in isolation. We are working to see if there are any links with trips made in southern Africa,” said Ukhsa. The Agency recalled that nine other cases of the Omicron variant have been found in Scotland.
