NAKA intervenes in several places in Slovakia TVnoviny.sk – TVNOVINY.sk

Police officers from the National Criminal Agency are intervening in several places in Slovakia today (November 30). The action is again related to machinations in public procurement in the National Highway Company. They were the first to be informed Aktuality.sk. This was also confirmed by the police presidium.

“The actions are related to documenting economic crime,” said spokeswoman Andrea Dobiášová. “We will provide more detailed information only when the procedural situation allows,” she added.

The raids take place in Bratislava, Trenčín, Žilina and also in eastern Slovakia. According to our information, there are also specially trained police officers from the Lynx Commando in the field.

“In the case in which NAKA performs acts today, the prosecutor of the Office of the Special Prosecutor’s Office supervises the matter of a particularly serious crime of breach of duty in the administration of foreign property and related criminal offenses. Due to the ongoing actions, it is currently not possible to provide further information in order not to frustrate the criminal proceedings, “Jana Tökölyová, a spokeswoman for the General Prosecutor’s Office, told TV Markíza.

This is the fourth intervention in terms of highways. NAKA has been investigating strange purchases at NDS for a long time.
