ASSAULT – Pierre Ménès, accused by several women sexual assault, is under investigation, announces The Parisian this Monday, November 29, information confirmed by the Paris prosecutor’s office. The former sports journalist of Canal +, is the subject of a preliminary investigation opened on November 20 for sexual assault, according to the media which quotes corroborating sources.

The facts would have occurred on November 20 at the Parc des Princes during the PSG-Nantes match while Pierre Ménès was present as a spectator. The latter would then have had inappropriate gestures towards a hostess inside the stadium by touching her chest.

The victim who, was heard by the police, did not wish to file a complaint, but faced with the elements gathered, the Paris prosecutor’s office decided to open a preliminary investigation of the count of sexual assault.

“There was absolutely no problem”

Contacted by The Parisian this Monday evening, the lawyer of Pierre Ménès Me Arash Derambarsh, disputed these accusations:

“Pierre Mènes attended the PSG-Nantes match, confirms the Parisian penalist. He was accompanied by three people throughout the evening. There was absolutely no problem. The evening went very well and this is confirmed by the CERFA certificates of the three people who accompanied him everywhere. My client will file a complaint for slanderous denunciation if his honor or consideration is harmed ”.

The sports journalist was sidelined from the Canal + group last July. It was last March that the Ménès controversy began. One of his former colleagues, Marie Portolano, made a documentary which reports that the columnist of the Canal Football Club behaved inappropriately with several women.
