CORONAVÍRUS Thousands of those infected also arrived in Slovakia on Sunday: 67 people died – Topky.sk

In Slovakia, 5,054 people with a positive PCR test were added last day, of whom more than 71% were not vaccinated. Regarding antigen testing, 2,063 were positive, more than 75% of whom have not yet been vaccinated. Yesterday, 13,582 RT-PCR tests and 37,257 antigen tests were completed.

The total number of people vaccinated with the first dose of the vaccine is 2,631,895, and 1,490 were vaccinated the previous day. 2,344,563 people have already received the second dose of the vaccine, and 301 people have been vaccinated the past day. 3,227 people were vaccinated yesterday with the third dose, a total of 381,881.

The total number of completed laboratory PCR tests so far is 4,563,162, while 673,015 have been tested positive. The total number of Ag tests performed so far is 40,141,306, of which 486,752 persons have been tested positively.

The highest number of infected people was in the Košice region

The most positive RT-PCR tests were in the Košice region (972), followed by Prešovský (919), Trenčiansky (664), Žilinský (625), Bratislavský (617), Trnavský (482), Banskobystrický (418) and Nitriansky (357) . There are 2,463 men and 2,591 women among them. The total number of positively tested men is 320,378 and women 352,637.

More than 3,000 hospitalized

3,219 patients are hospitalized in hospitals and COVID-19 is confirmed. Almost 84.35% of those hospitalized are not vaccinated at all or only partially vaccinated. There are 291 patients at JIS, 258 people need support for artificial lung ventilation. The number of confirmed victims of the pulmonary form of COVID-19 increased by 67 people. The total number of “Covid” deaths is 14,341 and the total number of “Covid” deaths is 2,687.
