A snowstorm “trapped” 60 people in an English pub. They had fun and sang for three days – TVNOVINY.sk

Due to the snow and wind that hit northern England over the weekend, visitors to one of the local pubs were forced to spend three nights in a row.

As on Monday for the station BBC said Nicola Townsend, owner of the Tan Hill Inn pub, everyone is fine and in a good mood. She later announced on the company’s profile on Facebook that they had finally made their way to them. They said goodbye to the guests who became friends in three days.

About 60 guests got stuck there on Friday night (November 26) after a performance by a music group that performed cover versions of Oasis songs. The pressure below Arwen has also taken care of traffic chaos and blackouts in many households in other parts of Britain.

Visitors spent time singing karaoke, knowledge competitions and board games. However, many of them still booked accommodation on Saturday nights – others slept on sofas or on mattresses on the floor.

“We have a lot of food,” Townsend said. “It sounds a bit like a cliché, but these people have come as strangers and will be leaving as friends,” she added. One woman even said she didn’t even want to leave.

However, a group of several people who had a baby with them left the hospitality earlier using special vehicles.

They restricted the serving of alcohol to stranded guests in the pub and they could get it at the earliest in the afternoon, after 3 p.m.

The photos show how snow driven by a strong wind covered parked cars and the entire pub.

Tan Hill Inn, England’s highest pub, used to be the backdrop for commercials. One of them was also about a group of visitors who, due to the snowfall, involuntarily but pleasantly spent time together in the hospitality industry. This seems to have happened – at least in part.
