Only vaccinated employees, tested or covide can enter the workplace from today – TVNOVINY.sk

From Monday, only employees who have survived the disease in the last 180 days can enter the employer’s workplace COVID-19, are vaccinated against this disease or can be tested by a negative test not older than seven days after collection (OTP). This follows from the current decree of the Public Health Office (ÚVZ) SR.

The restriction applies to all employees, including those who work on employment agreements, work performance agreements, student part-time agreements or contracts under the Commercial Code. However, it does not apply to a person who does not come into contact with another person at the employer’s workplace or other premises.

Entry to the workplace will only be in OTP mode, the unvaccinated must be tested once a week

In order to meet the condition of entering workplaces only in the OTP regime, the employer is obliged to perform regular inspections according to the decree. Confirmation of vaccination, overcoming the disease or testing can be replaced by a digital COVID pass.

The decree considers persons who have been vaccinated with a single-dose vaccine more than three weeks ago and who have received at least two weeks since the second dose of the two-dose vaccine or who have received a single dose of COVID-19 within 180 days to have been vaccinated. Vaccination is limited to one year after the last dose of vaccine.
