The Suzuki S-Cross is a brand new model. But especially because the SX-4 S-Cross is no longer called, but only the latter.

The Suzuki S-Cross is a very specific car, but not as specific as the Jimny or Swift, but still very specific due to the fact that you won’t find anything really big among the cars of this brand. Suzuki has been specializing in minimizing production costs for a year, and the brand is incredibly successful at making small and de facto cheap cars, but still making money on them and still having satisfied customers. Ask in the markets in Asia, or especially in India, who is king there. At Suzuki, I always remember a gentleman with the same last name (certainly just a coincidence) as he walked around the factory and removed every second / third bulb, because they shone where strong light was not needed, so they shone unnecessarily and increased costs. But maybe it’s just a superstition and it has nothing to do with the car this text is supposed to be about. Finally, this car is no longer produced in the age of light bulbs, but in the age of LED lights, which are economical only in principle. And LED lights are the strong point of modern Suzuki models. Because they shine like the most expensive Fujedks, and at the same time no complicated control units and xy motorbikes are needed to set them up. In short, they shine and dot.

And this is also a new model. A dot. Well, try to doubt. Does it look like new? Definitely at first glance. But the car’s body parts also seem to have changed, so there can be no question of a facelift, although the Suzuki driver, after moving to a new model, will feel that he is still where he was before. Just the display is a bit bigger (9-inch), new and even infotainment can handle new pieces. The vehicle differs from its predecessor mainly by headlights at the front and rear and a new mask in black glossy color.

The view is also higher. The external dimensions remain the same, so the length is just 4.3 meters, which the car officially advises on the full ceiling of segment B, but real internal dimensions at the beginning of segment C. Although it is not written in the report, I would guess the changes on the chassis, I guess also a more comfortable ride. But the truth is, it can only be a pious wish.

The underbody is the well-known 1.4-liter turbo-doped four-cylinder, which can drive both one and two axles and can transfer its power to them with both a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic transmission. It’s just a mild-hybrid with a 48 V architecture and an output of 95 kW.

The car has also improved in the area of ​​safety, the adaptive cruise control also has a function of stopping and subsequent starting in case of driving in a column in case of connection with an automatic transmission. The 360 ​​° camera view around the vehicle is also interesting, not only for better maneuvering, but also for off-road driving. The car will hit the markets early next year. In Europe, it should be really fast, as it is produced nearby in Hungary.
