Omicron variant, two cases in Australia

Two cases of the Omicron variant of the covid have been certified in Australia. This was announced today by the authorities of the state of New South Wales, specifying that the tests revealed the presence of the new strain in the samples examined and taken on two patients recently arrived in the country from Doha. Both were vaccinated and asymptomatic.
