A 15-year-old teenager was arrested on Wednesday 24 November evening and taken into custody at the Amiens police station where he is still on Thursday 25 November, according to information from France Bleu Picardie. He is suspected of having tagged insults and hateful and homophobic remarks on the facade of a “gay-friendly” bar and on that of France Bleu Picardie on the night of Saturday 20 to Sunday 21 November.
Already Wednesday, November 24, the Dewailly space where the headquarters of the association for the fight for LGBT + rights is located “Flash our True Colors” has been tagged. On the night of Saturday 20 to Sunday 21 November, the facade of Red and White, a gay-friendly bar located in the Saint-Leu district of Amiens, and that of France Bleu Picardie suffered the same fate.
A rally is scheduled for Tuesday, November 30 at 6 pm, Place de l’Hotel de Ville in Amiens, at the call of the associations Flash our True Colors, SOS homophobia and Les bavardes so that “this intolerable hatred” stops.
