“We do not want the gift voucher to replace the necessary wage increases for employees in certain sectors”, also alerted the Minister of the Economy. Bruno Le Maire repeated that he had “never asked for an increase in wages in all branches”, but in certain sectors which are struggling to recruit, particularly in bars, hotels and restaurants, these jobs in tension “where we need salary increases” and more “career opportunities”. According to him, “It is necessary that all together, we manage to conclude this negotiation which will make it possible to increase the wages for those which have the weakest wages”.
