Slovakia has achieved critical number of patients s covidom. 3,200 people are currently hospitalized with this diagnosis in hospitals. Compared to Monday, their number increased by 18.

“There are 288 people at JIS, 269 people need support for artificial lung ventilation. More than 83 percent of those hospitalized are not vaccinated.” the spokeswoman of the Ministry of Health Zuzana Eliášová approached.

Transport of patients to neighbors

Head of resort Vladimir Lengvarsky marked 3,200 patients in hospitals for a turning point, after which a humanitarian crisis will occur in Slovakia. “Any planned operational activity will be stopped. Only acute operations will be performed,” described.

In this situation, according to the minister, it will be necessary to transport patients to neighboring countries. Lengvarský confirmed last week that we had already received offers from the European Union, especially the surrounding countries, for this form of assistance.
