The Chief Hygienist of the Slovak Republic, Ján Mikas, says that in the current pandemic situation, a tough lockdown for everyone would be ideal for the country. It recommends that mobility be kept to a minimum.

In the morning, the Minister of Health Vladimír Lengvarský confirmed that he was coming to the government with a proposal for a lockdown.
