• After Matovič’s reform, a self-employed person would pay 29% levies and 19% tax if he had actual expenses.
• Flat-rate expenses should end, replaced by a 29% flat tax.
• There will be no taxable amount per taxpayer or wife.
• The tax bonus by which the tax would be reduced should be 70 euros per month, it should only apply to children under 18 years of age.

“It simply came to our notice then. It is a mess and absolute chaos, “said Finance Minister Igor Matovic (OĽaNO) on Monday when presenting changes in the taxation of self-employed persons (SZČO).

The slogan of Matovič’s tax reform is: “The tax revolution is fulfilling dreams.” From what the Minister of Finance has already presented, it is clear that some taxpayers may fulfill them, but self-employed persons and SZČO will not belong to them.
