Since lunch, information has appeared in several media about what restrictions appear to be due to the coronavirus pandemic. Initially, there was talk of a two-week lockdown.

However, according to other leaked material available to our newsroom, the restriction should allegedly apply to freedom of movement and residence by a curfew from 25 November 2021 from 05.00. until 01.00 the next day, with the restriction expiring on December 15, 2021. The lockdown would therefore last up to three weeks.

However, the restriction should not apply to travel to work unless it is possible to do the work in the form of a home-office, travel to the extent necessary to meet necessities, travel to the post office or to medical facilities. The restriction should also not apply to the journey “to perform an RT-PCR test for COVID-19 or to a mobile collection point for the purpose of carrying out an antigen test certified in the territory of the European Union for COVID-19 and the journey back,” it is written in the document.

The Minister of the Interior Roman Mikulec (OĽANO) also admitted the declaration of a state of emergency. As he explained, it is necessary for the introduction of a possible evening curfew. The government should discuss the topic on Wednesday (November 24). He stated this on the TV show Markíza Na telo plus. The final decision will probably be made in Wednesday (November 24).
