“How is it possible that in the current situation where people are also dying from the delusions of COVID, we still have a hatred for those who save us. I consider this absolutely unfair, my endless thanks and respect to every single health care professional who trying to help, “ she added.

Healthcare professionals are experiencing unacceptable situations

The Minister of Health Vladimír Lengvarský thanked the President for her interest in the situation in health care. “He has been showing it for a very long time and we are in touch. He is informed about how the situation is developing.” he said and also thanked all the paramedics. According to him, Slovak health professionals are experiencing situations that are already unacceptable. Some things are “unimaginable” for him.

“I would like to thank all those who care for our patients, whether they are doctors and nurses in hospitals, outpatient clinics, emergency medical services, epidemiologists, laboratory technicians and all those who struggle daily to keep the healthcare system functioning and so that our healthcare system can breathe again, as well as the whole state, ” evaluated. However, Lengvarsky did not answer the questions whether he would come up with a proposal for a lockdown on Wednesday at the government meeting. He also did not want to report on the results of negotiations with coalition partners.

UNB Director Roland Schaller said after a visit by President Zuzana Čaputová and the Minister of Health that they appreciated their support. He reminded that the hospital staff consists of mothers and breadwinners, who must also take care of their own families. He thanked them for their work.
