Russia, mandatory vaccine tests in Siberia

33,996 new cases of covid have been recorded in Russia in the last 24 hours, the lowest increase since last October 19, while the Siberian autonomous region of Khanty-Mansi introduced, the first in the country to do so, the obligation of isolation for residents who have not yet vaccinated (or who do not have a negative molecular test or have recently recovered). Tatarstan yesterday introduced the obligation to show the ‘green pass’ on public transport. New deaths across the country are 1,243. The Moscow region continues to be the hardest hit by the outbreak, with 1,871 new cases.
