MIUI 13: here is the (long) list of Xiaomi phones that should taste it quickly – Frandroid

While MIUI 13 is soon expected, the list of Xiaomi phones that would be entitled to it has been published by a site specializing in the news of the Chinese software interface.

The end of 2021 and the beginning of 2022 should be marked by many software changes for many smartphone manufacturers. The time has come for the passage to Android 12, usually accompanied by a brand new home interface version: One UI 4 for Samsung, for example – already available on some models.

On the Xiaomi side, we are preparing to switch a large number of phones to MIUI 13. The site XiaomiUI.net indeed believes to know the small name of all the devices which will be entitled to it. However, it is advisable to take a grain of salt: of course, the site assiduously follows the news of MIUI, but it remains unknown to our services.

Xiaomi MIUI 13: which smartphones are eligible?

Still, the Spanish media Xataca – reliable and serious in its treatment of the news – took the liberty of quoting it. Based on the elements of XiaomiUI.net, a whole batch of models will be eligible for MIUI 13, without tasting Android 12. Some will remain confined to Android 11, but with MIUI 13 all the same.

The flagships of the Chinese brand will obviously do nothing. Let us quote for example the Xiaomi mi 10, Mid 10S, Mi 10 Pro, Mi 10 Lite, Mi 10 Ultra, Mid 10T, Mi 10T Pro, Mi 10T Lite, Mid 11, Mi 11 Ultra, Mi 11 Pro, Mi 11 Lite, Mi 11 Lite 5G, Xiaomi 11t, Xiaomi 11t pro. Same song for tablets Xiaomi pad 5, Pad 5 Pro and Pad 5 Pro 5G.

The Redmi, Redmi K or Poco ranges are also among the lucky ones. As mentioned earlier, some will be able to download MIUI 13 but will remain limited to Android 11. Others, like the high-end models in the catalog, will have the chance to take care of everything.

MIUI 13: towards major graphic changes

Do not hesitate to consult the photo above to find out if your model fits the list. We will also have to wait for an official intervention from Xiaomi to confirm all of this information, even if we can already suspect that high-end phones will not be excluded.

Xiaomi 13 should in any case bring important graphic changes at the interface of the Chinese manufacturer. We do not yet know how much the company will intervene on icons, animations, widgets or even Material You, but the time would probably be for some rather deep adjustments.
