– Macron calls for calm in Guadeloupe –

French President Emmanuel Macron called for calm in the face of the “very explosive crisis” in Guadeloupe, in the grip of a social protest linked to the vaccine obligation against Covid-19, recognizing “a necessary dialogue” with elected officials.
