Oppo Reno 7: the new generation is already unveiled, two months after the Reno 6 – frandroid

Oppo seems to be catching everyone by surprise as it prepares a new generation of Reno, just a few months after the Reno 6 was presented.

The official launch of the Oppo Reno 6 in France only dates back to the beginning of September 2021, which is just over two months ago. We were able to offer you a test of the Reno 6 in October, and only a month later, here we are to start telling you about the Oppo Reno 7.

Most surprisingly, this is not a leak of OnLeaks, often quick to unveil smartphones well in advance of their presentations, but from a leak from Evan Blass, alias evleaks.

A design that changes little

However, Evan Blass usually provides images in the last moments before a product presentation. These are indeed images prepared for the press and their level of reliability is therefore very high. These are also images which generally give a good idea of ​​the appearance of the products. Evan Blass gives no other indication in his tweets other than the only names Oppo Reno 7 and Oppo Reno 7 Pro.

Unsurprisingly with such a fast generation, the design doesn’t change much. We find the same back “Glow»On the back which recalls a glitter effect, but which above all avoids having a slippery smartphone in hand. The rounded edges are still as reminiscent of the design of the iPhone from which the Oppo Reno is clearly inspired.

The Oppo Reno 7 Pro does not stand out either. The difference is made especially at the level of the photo module where the Reno 7 Pro seems to integrate up to 4 devices, including two particularly visible lenses. It remains to discover their characteristics to learn more.

An announcement in the coming weeks?

As we said, EvLeaks is quite customary for leaks at the end of the product creation journey. We must therefore expect an official presentation of the Oppo Reno 7 and 7 Pro as soon as possible.
