PRAGUE. According to epidemiologist Roman Prymula, the Czech government introduced current measures against the spread of covid too late.

Prymula said in Sunday’s Czech Television program Questions of Václav Moravec that the state often takes the necessary steps only afterwards, but it should be based on predictions. According to him, monitoring hospital occupancy is crucial.

Vašáková added that next week the Ministry of Health will probably allow people to be re-vaccinated against covid after only five months, instead of the previous six.
