Two of the 17 North American hostages kidnapped in mid-October released in Haiti

The American church to which belong the 17 American and Canadian missionaries kidnapped on October 16 near Port-au-Prince announced the release of two of them on Sunday.

Two of the 17 North American hostages, 16 American citizens and a Canadian, kidnapped in mid-October by a gang, on the outskirts of the Haitian capital Port-au-Prince, have been released, announced Sunday, November 21, the American church to which missionaries and their relatives belong.

“Only limited information can be provided, but we are able to indicate that the two hostages who have been released are safe and sound, in good spirits and in care,” said church organization Christian Aid Ministries in a press release published on its website.
