According to him, the government should have tightened the measures 14 days ago, but now it is too late. The restrictions will continue in the Czech Republic for about half a year, the epidemiologist estimates. According to the chairman of the Association of Regions of the Czech Republic and the governor of the South Bohemian region, Martin Kubu, the government has “fallen asleep” in this regard.

From a professional point of view, he and Prymula do not consider area testing essential, especially if it is not possible to isolate each infected person and shake off his contacts. According to Deputy Minister of Health Martina Vašáková, it is important that people strictly adhere to the established and implemented measures.
