The buyers, from a young London-based group (Oenotrade) which has been buying wine from the Hospices for four years, scrambled for a long time with Alberic Bichot.

Last year, the auctions kept their promises during the 160th edition of the Wine Sale. Encouraged by the godfather Marc Lavoine, but also by two videos of Patrick Timsit and Fred Testot projected on the screen, the buyers had raised the prices over the minutes to finally reach the record amount of € 780,000 (including donations) , thus exploding the previous record of 2015 (480,000 €). As a reminder, the profits of the 2020 edition went to the Hospital Federation of France, in a context marked by the CovId-19 pandemic.
