CORONAVÍRUS Another high number of positive and dozens of deaths has been added: Hospitals are collapsing – Topky.sk

In the past day, 7,727 people with a positive PCR test were added to Slovakia, almost 72% of whom were not vaccinated. Regarding antigen testing, 1,351 were positive, almost 72% of whom have not yet been vaccinated. Yesterday, 22,096 RT-PCR tests and 12,984 antigen tests were completed.

The total number of people vaccinated with the first dose of the vaccine is 2,577,522, and 3,442 were vaccinated the previous day. 2,334,416 people have already received the second dose of the vaccine, and 692 people have been vaccinated the past day. The third dose vaccinated 5,819 people yesterday, for a total of 274,447.

The total number of completed laboratory PCR tests so far is 4,378,036, with 610,140 tested positive. The total number of Ag tests performed so far is 39,798,538, of which 464,124 were tested.

There were 7727 cases

The most positive RT-PCR tests were in the Prešov region (1,372), followed by Košický (1,083), Bratislavský (1,005), Banskobystrický (985), Žilinský (963), Trenčiansky (914), Trnavský (826) and Nitriansky (579). There are 3,641 men and 4,086 women among them. The total number of positively tested men is 290,219 and women 319,921.

Number of hospitalized

3,004 patients are hospitalized in hospitals and COVID-19 is confirmed. Almost 81.78% of those hospitalized are not vaccinated at all or only partially vaccinated. There are 270 patients at JIS, 258 people need support for artificial lung ventilation. The number of confirmed victims of the pulmonary form of COVID-19 increased by 43 people. The total number of “Covid” deaths is 13,861 and the total number of “Covid” deaths is 2,638.
