Petra Vlhová reaches for next victory: Online broadcast from the 2nd round of slalom in Levi, Finland – Športky.sk

LEVI – Slovak skier Petra Vlhová settled at the head of Sunday’s World Cup slalom in the 1st round. In Levi, Finland, she led eighteen hundred seconds ahead of the American rival Mikaela Shiffrin after the initial fifteen starters. The third place was the Swiss Michelle Gisin with a gap of 0.36 s.

In sunny weather, the defender of the big globe started with the number 7. Immediately after the start, she was in the green numbers, increasing the lead over the then leader Shiffrin in the steep part of the track. The American co-Bavarian set out on the track first. Sweden’s Swennová Larsson lost only one hundredth to Gisin’s third, the first round did not go to Slovenja Andreja Slokarová. The third best competitor in Saturday’s slalom made a big mistake before entering the slope and lost 1.60 s to the leader.
