Venus mission, Russia-NASA agreement to explore the planet

Russia has announced the signing of an agreement with NASA to explore the planet Venus in a joint mission with the United States. This was stated by the head of the Russian space agency Roscosmos, Dmitry Rogozin, saying that “we have reached an agreement with the Americans for a joint mission to Venus”. Avoiding saying when this mission will take place, Rogozin said that “some problems are solved more easily together, making the talent of our scientists available”. Last year Russia announced a mission to Venus with an estimated launch between 2027 and 2029. Last month, the UAE also expressed interest in exploring the planet.
