Comprehensive lockdown or mandatory vaccination from February next year. These are fundamental measures introduced by the Austrian government on Friday (November 19). It is the government’s response to the current bad situation in which the country finds itself in connection with the pandemic. Austria is currently the third worst country in the world, with Slovakia in first place and Slovenia in second place.

However, thousands of people do not agree with the new measures. The protesters occupied Vienna’s square near the parliament, where they chanted together and called for freedom. The protest is also accompanied by shouting, whistling and drumming.
