On TikTok, the video has no title, but some comment “I hope the whole world will rise up against the global dictatorship (sic)”. On Twitter, the legend displays “#StopDictatureSanitaire”.

The video, which as of November 17 had been viewed 362,000 times on TikTok and 18,000 times on Twitter (here and here), shows hundreds of people, dressed in green, walking down the street and chanting songs.

The video is circulating in the context of a strong epidemic recovery in Austria. Since November 15, unvaccinated Austrians must confine themselves for at least ten days, under penalty of a fine. The Austrian government hopes to reduce the number of contaminations which are reaching levels unmatched since the start of the pandemic.

The team came to face Wolfsberger AC in a Europa League match, as indicated this database.

We see that a lot of people are dressed in green, club color, and we can hear singing at 0’53: “Ole ole, Ole ole ole, Borussia Mönchengladbach”, a song from the club’s supporters.
