American actress Meg Ryan, who was born on November 19, 1961, was one of the most charming Hollywood actresses in the 1980s and 1990s. Do you remember her most famous tasks?

She has worked mainly in comedies and romantic films. She first drew more attention to herself in sci-fi produced by Steven Spielberg’s Inner Universe (1987). She made a real star when Harry met Sally (1989), followed by the successful Seattle Loner (1993) with Tom Hanks.

In the 90’s, her type of blonde, blue-eyed and sympathetic “girl next door” was well used in the films When a Man Loves a Woman (1994), French Kiss (1995) and in another of the series of romantic comedies – Love over the Internet (1998), in which again formed a film couple with Hanks and clearly won the title of America’s darling, just as a few years later a little younger Jennifer Aniston (52).

The film City of Angels (1998), in the American remake of the legendary German film Nebo nad Berlin by director Wim Wenders from 1987, was also played by Meg Ryan alongside Nicolas Cage.

The turning point for Ryan was the shooting of the film Life Trial (2000), when she met Russell Crowe. Their novel eventually led to the breakup of the marriage with Dennis Quaid, but the affair with Crowe did not grow into a lasting relationship.
