Radio audiences, morning stars: Vandel, Courbet, Nagui, Marschall and Truchot all down – Ozap

A hotly contested audience hub, the 9 am / 12 noon for general practitioners is another time slot in which the stations are investing a lot. RTL, France Inter, Europe 1, RMC, on the September-October 2021 wave, the decline is on all levels.

“Let yourself be tempted”, “Boomerang” and “The moment M” in retreat

Broadcast between 9 am and 9:30 am in the wake of “RTL Matin”, “Indulge”, orchestrated by Yves Calvi, retains its status as leader of the section on RTL. According to Médiamétrie, 1.266 million listeners were cultivated on average, over the September-October 2021 wave, to the sound of the chronicles of Bernard Lehut, for literature, Stéphane Boudsocq, for cinema, or Isabelle Morini-Bosc, for television. After an already difficult wave in the spring (1.32 million), Yves Calvi and his band therefore continue their fall forward. At the start of the 2020 school year, the cultural program was leading the way with 1.570 million pairs of ears (-304,000 over one year).

Between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. on France Inter, the block made up of “Boomerang” by Augustin Trapenard and “L’instant M” by Sonia Devillers, points to 1.044 million listeners. If overall the band remains above one million listeners (it drops below this symbolic bar from 9:30 a.m.), its number of faithful is clearly reduced over one year: -179,000 (stable score on a wave). In detail, Augustin Trapenard seduces 1.101 million listeners between 9 a.m. and 9.45 a.m. (-189,000 over one year, -29,000 over one wave). For her part, Sonia Devillers recorded, between 9.45 am and 10 am, 872,000 faithful to her media program. Over one million at the same period last year, the journalist lost some 155,000 listeners en route.

Vandel on the decline, 11.30am-12.30pm is progressing with Courbet

Another media event is broadcast between 9 am and 11 am on Europe 1. “Culture Médias”, presented every day by Philippe vandel, gathers on average on the slice only 342,000 listeners. During the last wave in the spring, the show still averaged over 400,000 listeners. Over one year, Philippe Vandel misplaced 55,000 listeners, penalized by the disappearance of the launching pad that was Nicolas Canteloup. Behind, the novelty “Well done for you”, presented by Julia Vignali, who thus continues with “Télématin”, and Mélanie Gomez between 11h and 12h30, was discovered on average by 274,000 listeners. Last year, Anne Roumanoff, who occupied the same box with “It feels good” made an average of 327,000 listeners laugh every day.

On RTL, Julien courbet has (again) taken the lead in this comeback. Now co-broadcast on M6, “Ca Can Happen to You” now covers the 9.30am-12.30pm maxi-section. 1.056 million amateurs Anti-scam strings are loyal to the show on average every day. On the 9:30 am-11:30am period, which he occupied last season, Julien Courbet and his experts are down, with 1.087 million listeners (-230,000 over a year, -78,000 over a wave).

On the other hand, the 11:30 am to 12:30 pm segment, which the host of “Capital” on M6 inherited following RTL’s decision to remove “Tout to gain”, is progressing with a gain of 100,000 listeners. 993,000 pairs of ears are attentive on average during the last hour of Julien Courbet’s show when the game of Bruno Guillon and Bérénice Bourgueil attracted, at the same time last year, 893,000 players. On a wave, the tranche therefore increases by 115,000 listeners.

Nagui contracts on Inter

From 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Nagui and its “Original Sound Track” unscrew. They post on France Inter an average of 849,000 listeners, now well below the million mark that the host of “Taratata” still reached at the start of the last school year. Result, the program records a drop of 190,000 listeners over one year and 131,000 over a wave. Nagui can however cling to the fact that listeners join the room during the broadcast: if they are 735,000 in the first quarter of an hour, the host is listened to by 1.033 million listeners when he returns the air at 12:30 p.m. Just before, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., “Great good for you”, Ali Rebeihi’s program retains 690,000 people, down over one year (-167,000) as in a wave (-44,000).

Finally, “Les grandes gueules” on RMC, broadcast from 9h to 12h, unites 585,000 fans on average each day. The issuance ofAlain Marschall and Olivier Truchot on RMC thus loses 65,000 amateurs over a year and 56,000 in a wave. As for “Estelle Midi, we are not going to lie to each other”, the new RMC program, co-broadcast on RMC Story and conducted by Estelle Denis on the 12h-15h section, it gathered on average, in this new school year, 278,000 listeners (+25,000 over one year). A stable score compared to the last wave. Between 12 p.m. and 3 p.m., “Neumann-Lechypre” met on average, between April and June, 279,000 debate enthusiasts.
