Four Venezuelans die and six others are injured after a fire in a residence for minors in Chile

(CNN Spanish) – Four people died in a fire that affected a home for minors in the city of Talca, as reported on Tuesday Chilean firefighters through your verified Twitter account.

“Unfortunately, two adults and two pediatric minors have died in the home,” reported Commander Patricio Mella of the Talca Fire Department.

The prosecutor for the Maule region, Héctor de la Fuente, led the investigation and confirmed that the four people who lost their lives are all Venezuelan nationals, as well as the six who are injured.

“The International Police have been asked to verify the immigration issue of the people who lived at this address,” said the prosecutor de la Fuente.

So far the reason why the fire occurred is unknown and the investigations and expert opinions of the authorities continue.
