European MTV Awards dominated by Ed Sheeran, artists team up to support local LGBTQ community – PRAVDA.sk

Singer and songwriter Ed Sheeran became the best artist at Sunday’s MTV Europe Music Awards (EMA).

Singer Ed Sheeran also visited Budapest.

The British native also won the award for best song for the hit Bad Habits from Budapest. MTV has announced music awards in the Hungarian capital to support the local LGBTQ community, ie lesbians, gays, bisexuals, transgender people and people of different backgrounds. In mid-June, the Hungarian parliament passed a law banning education on sexual minorities. The norm is also criticized by activists and the European Union.

Hungary European MTV Awards 2021 Show Viktoria Radványi won the Generation Change Award for supporting the LGBTQ community in Hungary, where they recently passed a controversial law.
