The footballers of Spain and Serbia advanced to Qatar at the World Cup 2022. Serbia won the A-group by three points ahead of Portugal, which defeated 2: 1 in Lisbon thanks to a goal by Aleksandar Mitrovič in the 90th minute. The Spaniards at home in Seville won 1-0 over the Swedes in the B-group.
