Oliver, one of the best athletes from Nové Zámky, died in a night accident – TVNOVINY.sk

The black week on the road continues. An 18-year-old athlete from Nové Zámky died in a car accident. He was sitting in the car with four other friends.

It was shortly after 11 pm when only a 19-year-old driver could not drive on a dirt road. The car that led crashed into a power pole. It overturned several more times after the crash. Of the five-member crew, three boys were slightly injured and one seriously.

18-year-old Oliver – Slovakia’s go-kart champion and at the same time one of the best athletes in Nové Zámky, succumbed to his injuries on the spot. The police are finding out what the exact cause of the tragedy was. According to our information, the driver did not have alcohol in his breath, but allegedly went very fast.
