Uncontrollable driving of a truck driver: He left a 30-kilometer trigger on the German highway – TVNOVINY.sk

The approximately ten-kilometer section of one of Germany’s main motorways – the Bundesautobahn 3 (A3) – had to be closed on Saturday evening after a truck driver lost control of his vehicle while driving due to health problems, leaving behind a 30-kilometer-long trigger in the form of destroyed barriers. Based on police information, the DPA agency wrote about it on Sunday.

The accident and the subsequent closure of the road occurred on the section Frankfurt am Main – Nuremberg. Police said the 48-year-old driver crashed into a highway guardrail several times and, in addition, despite warning traffic signs and markings, managed to cross an unspecified construction site.

Some of the roadblocks were dumped with such force that they flew into the opposite direction of the highway.

The police managed to stop the driver near the Bavarian town of Würzburg. He was immediately taken to hospital. The incident did not claim other injured people and traffic was diverted to other highways.
