Covid, in Austria lockdown for unvaccinated from tomorrow

The lockdown for non-vaccinated against Covid starts tomorrow in Austria. This was decided in a meeting between the Austrian Chancellor Alexander Schallenberg and the governors of the regions. According to a draft proposal advanced by the Dpa agency, the measure would remain in force until November 24th. Broad support for the decision had already been expressed in advance prior to the decision. Those who are not vaccinated or cured of Covid will nevertheless be able to leave the house, as indeed in previous lockdowns, to work, shop or in case of emergencies, and even to stay outdoors for physical or mental health needs or practice a religious cult. On the other hand, children under 12 years old are excluded from the restriction.
