In Germany, 33,498 new coronavirus infections have been recorded in the last 24 hours, bringing to 5,021,469 cases since the pandemic broke out. This was reported by the Robert Koch Institute (Rki), according to which the weekly incidence has reached a new record, 289 cases per 100 thousand inhabitants.
