Covid 19: France toughens its rules from Germany – France Bleu

In Germany the situation continues to worsen. Angela Merkel called on Germans to make a national effort to break the new wave of Covid 19 affecting the country, as this is the case in a number of European countries. Besides the rules for returning to France from Germany have tightened since midnight on Saturday.

Test less than 24 hours

Unvaccinated people (except minors under 12) will now have to provide a negative PCR or antigen test of less than 24 hours and no longer 72 hours, as was the case until now. Travel in border areas is not, as usual, concerned.

Border residents, within a radius of 30 kilometers around their home, will be able to enter and leave Germany without testing, but only for a trip of less than 24 hours. Business trips urgent matters and road hauliers are not affected by these new rules either.

The situation continues to be worrying in Baden-Wutemberg

With our neighbors in Baden-Württemberg, the incidence rate is now 370 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and yesterday there were 372 people in intensive care. If this number rises above 390, the state of alarm will apply, and the authorities have already warned: unvaccinated people will see their rights even more limited.

The incidence rate in Saarland is 184, almost twice as much as in Moselle, and 162.5 in Rhineland Palatinate.
