A tragic traffic accident occurred in the village of Koniarovce today (November 13) shortly after midnight. According to the Topoľčianska police, the driver of the car was a 21-year-old boy under the influence of alcohol.

The driver probably did not manage to drive and got out of the road and crashed into the fence of the family house. During the crash, a 17-year-old passenger flew out of the car and died at the scene of the accident as a result of injuries.

The driver underwent a breath test by the police and measured him at 1.31 per mille.

The preliminary cause of this accident was the high speed at which the car passed through the village and, of course, the alcohol in the blood of the driver, who apparently gave him the necessary guts. The circumstances, the degree of culpability and the exact cause of this tragedy are under investigation.
