Coronavirus in Slovakia: 7,244 new cases and 39 covid deaths – SME.sk

The laboratories performed 26,314 PCR assays.

BRATISLAVA. PCR tests detected 7,244 infected in Slovakia on Friday coronavirus, laboratories examined 26,314 PCR samples.

The National Health Information Center informs about it.

PCR tests were detected most in the Prešov region, 1,358 samples were positive, 1,132 in the Košice region, 1,027 in the Žilina region, 972 in the Banská Bystrica region, 856 in Bratislava, 784 in Trenčín, 563 in Trnava and 552 in Nitra.

Yesterday, 1752 people had a positive antigen test, and medics performed 26,110 tests.

Another 39 people died of Covid-19, and a total coronavirus pandemic in Slovakia has claimed 13,485 victims.

There are 2626 patients with Covid-19 in hospitals, 239 patients in JIS, 238 people need support for artificial lung ventilation.

The first dose vaccines received 5139 people on Friday, a total of 2,542,370 were vaccinated. The second dose of the vaccine was given to 2,383 people on Friday, and there are 2,325,309 people vaccinated with both doses of the vaccine in Slovakia.
