Although the last few days were exceptionally nice weather, the arrival of the weekend seemed to cut off, and especially in the west of Slovakia, the autumn weather was typical – fog in the morning and not a hint of sunlight during the day. And this trend will not change over the weekend.

Saturday

It should be clear or light clouds during the night from Friday to Saturday. Especially in the southwest, foggy or low clouds, exceptionally also drizzle, should be expected. The lowest night temperature reaches 3 to -2 degrees Celsius, in the valleys up to -4 degrees Celsius. In most areas, no wind or light southeast wind up to 20 kilometers per hour.

During the day it will be mostly cloudy, in several places also with drizzle or showers. “The Carpathian region will be hit by an edge of pressure from the east, which will gradually weaken,” write meteorologists on the website of the Slovak Hydrometeorological Institute. During the day, mercury rises to thermometers at 6 to 11 degrees Celsius, occasionally around 4 degrees Celsius. In the mountains at an altitude of 1500 meters above sea level, mostly up to 6 degrees. The wind blows up to 25 kilometers per hour throughout the territory.

Sunday

The last day of the week will be very similar to Saturday. On Sundays it will be cloudy to cloudy, occasionally with light showers or drizzle, in the mountains with snow. Nadránom low clouds or fog. “A shallow low-pressure furrow will enter our area from the southwest,” meteorologists warn. The lowest night temperature reaches 5 to 0 degrees Celsius, with reduced clouds up to -2 degrees Celsius. During the day the temperature will rise to 6 to 11 degrees Celsius and the wind will be mostly light.

Monday

The beginning of the week will be cloudy at first, occasionally with clear skies. Rainfall can occur occasionally in the morning. “From the northeast, the edge of the massive pressure level will begin to reach our area,” meteorologists clarified. At night, the temperature reaches 6 to 1 degree Celsius, rarely to -1 degrees Celsius. The highest daily temperature reaches 8 to 13, in Orava and Upper Spiš and in foggy weather around 6 degrees Celsius. A light wind will blow up to 25 kilometers per hour.
