Lender favoring fraud

Police in connection with Arcy’s activities in recent months have launched a large-scale investigation into several crimes. This was confirmed for the portal by Jana Tökölyová, a spokeswoman for the special prosecutor’s office. The case speaks of criminal prosecution for fraud, breach of duty in the administration of foreign property, harm and favoring the creditor. In September 2020, Matovic claimed that his wife did not give the euro to Arca Capital, but to its close company Arca Investments. His wife reportedly doesn’t have paid one of the three bills she had there.

“Expert examination of the accounting documentation is currently underway. The accusation has not been made to any person. Due to the ongoing investigation, the Office of the Special Prosecutor’s Office will not currently provide more detailed information.” the spokeswoman added.

The mentioned company Arca Capital also filed a criminal complaint. Its representatives these days suspected that the judges who were deciding on the fate of the company could have bent the law. However, Arcy’s officials failed, and the investigator rejected their criminal report a few days ago because he said there was no reason to prosecute.

Even in March and April last year, the receivables of the wife of the former Prime Minister Matovič became due. Arcy’s clients immediately reported their payout, but the financial group did not have enough funds to do so.

Matovičová claims three hundred thousand bills of exchange

Pavlína Matovičová herself filed her claim at the Municipal Court in Prague in July this year.
