The Slovaks flew to Malta without three players. Tarkovic did not call substitutes – SPORT.sk

After Thursday’s draw in Trnava with the Slovenes 2: 2, they flew to Malta on Friday afternoon, where they will play the last duel in the H-group on Sunday at 3.00 pm.

Hamšík has calf problems, for which he completed only the first half against Slovenia. Pekarík could not start due to a card penalty and Valjent left the selection for family reasons, his daughter was born.

Coach Štefan Tarkovič did not call any of the substitutes for the final performance. The official website of the Slovak Football Association (SFZ) informed about it.
