Matovic will present the tax reform three times, starting on Sunday – SME.sk

BRATISLAVA. Minister of Finance Igor Matovic will introduce tax and levy reform in the coming days.

“We are starting on Sunday, it will have to be presented three times, on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday, because it is such extensive material,” said Braňo Závodský live on the radio talk show Expres.

According to him, the first part of the reform will be about the family, the second about the taxation of labor and the third about the taxation of business. “It’s exactly the spirit I promised in May,” he said. According to him, it will be the amount of 200 euros per child, one tax and one levy and the so-called fair days.

At the beginning of May, Minister of Finance Igor Matovič presented the basic theses of the planned tax-tax reform.

He announced that he wanted to introduce financial support for families in the amount of 200 euros per child per month until his adulthood. According to him, Slovakia needs an honest and pro-family reform that will simplify the tax system and taxes will be fair and fair.

Matovič’s intention is also to simplify the tax-levy system so that, in the case of an employment relationship, only one tax and one levy are deductible from the price of labor.

According to Matovič, the goal of the reform should also be fair taxes, which in practice means that all people will pay the same taxes and levies for the same form of work for the same employer.
