Covid Germany today, over 48,500 infections in 24 hours: the bulletin

More than 48,500 covid-19 infections in the last 24 hours in Germany. Since the beginning of the pandemic in the country, the number of coronavirus cases has exceeded 4.9 million, the Robert Koch Institute announced on its website. In the last 24 hours, 48,640 infections have been confirmed, while 191 people have lost their lives due to complications. The total number of infected people is thus updated to 4,942,890 and to 97,389 that of the dead. Currently in Germany there are 395,300 active cases, about 30,900 more than yesterday. A meeting is scheduled for 18 November with the leaders of the various Laender to decide on the measures to be taken to contain the spread of the pandemic.
