(CNN Spanish) – The 2022 Ford Maverick is the automaker’s new truck to try to bring back compact trucks that include a pickup truck, while it would also be the first in America to be fully hybrid on the standard model.
Thanks to this combination of features, the 2022 Ford Maverick pickup would offer an EPA-estimated 40 MPG (miles per gallon) or 64 kilometers per gallon in the city and its gas tank would offer up to 500 miles or 800 kilometers.
The idea of the Ford Maverick 2022 is to offer a mix between a pickup truck and a relatively compact vehicle that allows it to be used for everyday use, whether it is simply going to work or to the supermarket. This makes the new Ford more maneuverable than a large pickup like the new Ford F-150 Lightning (electric).
Despite its size, the 2022 Ford Maverick can haul up to 1,500 pounds of cargo and tow up to 2,000 pounds on the standard model, but with the optional two-book EcoBoost engine the towing capacity extends up to 4,000 pounds.
Additionally, the 2022 Ford Maverick includes two 110-volt plug ports and two 12-volt connectors.
The 4.5-foot or 1.37-meter platter features a so-called Flexbed feature that allows cargo to be organized and safely stored.

The 2022 Ford Maverick has a standard 8-inch screen, compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. In addition, it has a modem and Wi-Fi that allows you to connect up to 10 devices at the same time to obtain the Internet.
This truck is also compatible with the FordPass app to be able to see the fuel level, turn the vehicle on / off, unlock or find it using your cell phone.
The Ford Co-Pilot360 system is also featured to bring automatic emergency braking, automatic high beams and crash assist. Additionally, buyers have the option of choosing an adaptive cruise control with the ability to stop and start, blind spot alerts, and lane centering among other features.
