In Slovakia, 6,546 people with a positive PCR test were added last day, of whom more than 68% were not vaccinated. Regarding antigen testing, 1,859 were positive, almost 71% of whom have not yet been vaccinated. Yesterday, 22,967 RT-PCR tests and 27,186 antigen tests were completed.

The total number of completed laboratory PCR tests so far is 4,153,734, while 540,209 have been tested positive. The total number of Ag tests performed so far is 39,450,234, of which 437,150 were tested positively.

The total number of people vaccinated with the first dose of the vaccine is 2,532,607. There were 2,744 vaccinees in the previous day. 2,320,910 people have already received the second dose of the vaccine, and 1,069 people have been vaccinated the past day.

The most positive increased again in the Prešov region

The most positively tested RT-PCR tests were in the Prešov region (1,278), followed by the Banská Bystrica region (950), Košický (933), Žilinský (897), Bratislavský (840), Trenčiansky (647), Trnavský (590) and Nitriansky ( 411). There are 3,052 men and 3,494 women among them. The total number of positively tested men is 256,999 and women 283,210.

There are 230 people on lung ventilation

2,532 are hospitalized with confirmed COVID-19. Among hospitalized, 79.74% are not vaccinated at all or only partially vaccinated. There are 215 patients at the JIS, 230 people need support for artificial lung ventilation.
