Last night, in L’After, it was said that Waldemar Kita did not really intend to leave Jonelière for Vair-sur-Loire, thirty kilometers from Nantes. The vice-president in charge of sports at the city of Nantes, Ali Rebouh, declared to Ouest-France: “We regret this decision by the president of FC Nantes. Johanna Rolland and all the metropolitan elected officials of all sensibilities express their attachment, and that of all club lovers, to the FCN staying in Nantes or in its metropolis. This decision is all the more regrettable as Nantes Métropole had made several site proposals to the club, including two proposals studied with precision: that of a double site with Jonelière on the one hand and the Basses Landes on the other. Or even the proposal for a single site in the town of Orvault. It is clear that these proposals are not sufficient, in terms of land availability, for the wishes of the club president. We remain firm on our positions and ready to discuss them with the club president. We reiterate our desire that the FCN remains on the metropolitan territory ”.
